All amenities have been provided—even dish soap, laundry detergent, plenty of hangers to dry your clothes, toiletries- and all eco friendly (bulk packaging rather than individual sizes).     Positive The stay was very traditional Japanese. Wood flooring on the base level, Tatami mats on the top level. There was even a small back garden. The atmosphere really cemented the fact that we were in Japan during our stay.     Positive The house is very well located, close to public transport to visit all highlights of Kyoto and in a quiet street. The decoration is nice and there is a small Japanese garden which is beautiful at night. Big rooms with futons.
