Positive Felt like I got welcomed into a family! They picked me up from Shiojiri and had an amazing dinner of eggplant, meat, and bean sprouts. The hosts are wonderful and the place is super clean and well organized. Everything was amazing! I did laundry for 200 yen and had great conversation with locals.

Positive this is practically a home stay. the owner picked me up from Matsumoto station and back to shirojiri station. I had japanese dinner with the whole family and speak to them in japanese they were sweet and very open. I booked the dormitory but since it had only a a male guest they let me stay at another private room inside the old japanese house.

Positive Very friendly hosts in a new construction but traditional Japanese guest house. Excellent dinner with the host family including their three children.
