Positive Located in a residential development - resort. main hotel and then a lot of houses and chalets around it. Beautiful setting in the woods up in the foothills of the mountains. Positive Rustic, rural, and nestled beautifully in the mountains. The private onsen was an excellent way to relax. The tatami room was really nice and comfortable for the two adults in our party who had never slept this way. We were visited twice by monkeys, which was really fun
