    Positive The lady owner was just so nice. I felt welcomed right away. I also appreciated the kinds words with the breakfast. The room was also very nice, with a futon and tatami, and you also get to have a reserved time to access the Onsen. Location is also very good. Walkable distance to most of the Beppu hells and the two remaining ones can be reached by bus. Bus s

    Positive The ryokan has basic facilities but is really nicely located near the Hyotan onsen, the famous steam cooking restaurant, multiple foot baths. The staff is very sweet and explains everything clearly. There's is a small kitchen space where you can make a cup of tea, a communal fridge to store any refrigerated snacks you might have.     Positive The host is an amazing lady who is very accommodating and takes the time to properly convene and explain everything. She even gave a small note in the morning with breakfast to wish a nice day (In English, though she speaks very little).
