    Positive This place is a great experience - staying in a Japanese house rather than a boxy hotel. The futons were comfortable, the host was very helpful explaining the facilities. Excellent place, pity we only had one night.

    Positive Our family adored our stay here! The house is incredible— cozy, functional, well designed and historic all in one. We really enjoyed spending time just at the house, especially after long days exploring the Iya Valley.

    Positive This traditional Japanese house was extremely comfortable and fun to stay in. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom and toilet rooms are excellent. The kitchen is small but has many useful appliances, dishes, etc. The location is great for going into the mountains or down the valley, but I would say that a car is highly recommended.
