    Positive An utterly charming guesthouse with oodles of character. There were so many lovely details to discover. The staff were so friendly, and plenty of English explanations for everything if you need them. It was pretty clean and well-maintained for such an old place.     Positive I have been on a 2 month trip around Japan and stayed in about 4 hotels and guest houses. This one was the best. Beautiful old building, tastefully decorated, close to Mojiko Retro. Ask the staff to recommend an izakaya - was excellent. One photo is the entrance to the izakaya - name forgotten. Perhaps Kaedaya?
