    Positive The traditional culture sucks you in at this place and although there are no private bathrooms, it is to fully immerse yourself in the experience of onsen. And, in addition to comfortable accommodations, the dining on site was superior with custom-made local food options for both breakfast and dinner.     Positive Great hosts, friendly and helpful. Great Japanese food, both breakfast and dinner. The Lodge itself featured great architecture. Large onsens. Offered ski rental and a good price, although rental of snowboards was not available.

    Positive The owners of the lodge treat guests like family and we love how meals were so sumptuous and thoughtfully prepared. Our family felt so spoilt with the meals and hospitality. Location is great as it is a short walk from a couple ski lifts. Lodging is simple but clean with common bath and bathroom areas.
