Positive Perfect hotel. We were previously in another hotel that we didn't really enjoy, we moved to Gate and from that moment on our vacation became perfect. Huge hotel in the best location in Kyoto! Everywhere is 5 minutes on foot. Spacious and clean rooms, kind and dedicated staff, a perfect hotel, highly recommended!

Positive I thought this hotel was located in the perfect spot. It was easy to get around and had easy access to the train/subway. The staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant had terrific food both for breakfast and dinner. I also liked the small culture presentation they gave.
