Positive We loved that the owners shared their very special home that they have had in the family for 200 years! We also loved meeting the owners and their dogs, who were all so welcoming and kind. The landscape outside is gorgeous with a beautiful river nearby, and all the nature sounds to lull you to sleep.

Positive Amazing remote house in the Kyoto countryside. Hideo-san and Yukako-san were wondeful hosts, they made us delicious sukiyaki hotpot, perfect for the cooler nights. The surrounding area was so quiet and beautiful.
