    Positive Located close to Lake Hibara and within 10-15min of drive to the Nekoma and Grandeco ski resorts and a slightly longer 20-25min drive to Inawashiro, the lake and ski resort. Very welcoming and friendly owner - and his curious Riesenschnautzer! Shared family bath and very cozy wooden rooms!

    Positive Everything. The location was rustic but everything seemed very new or renovated. The quasi-private onsen (shared between other people in the house) was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were also spacious with AC/heater, and a pretty comfy bed. The owner was also extremely friendly and prepared for us some amazing meals.
