Positive A quaint and beautiful onsen ryokan located in Aso. The room we got on the second floor was large and comfortable. The ryokan has a public onsen and 5 private onsens (reserved for guests after 9pm) located in an adjoning building. Dinner was amazing as expected from a ryokan. We used the private onsen twice!

Positive Great location in Mount Aso in the heart of town. The onsen is a sulfur bath which leaves your skin feeling refreshed and Moisturised. There is a very conducive sitting room with fireplace and ground coffee provided. We were able to fit a family of 5 in the tatami room which is very unusual for hotels / ryokans. Positive We could fit a family of 5 pax in one room which is very hard to find in Aso . The big family room had a toilet, en-suite and toilet in the room with excellent WiFi.
