    Positive A charming stay in a guesthouse in the historical part of Arita - walking distance to shrines and other sites of interest, and a couple of excellent restaurants (we went to one recommended by our host and had a great meal). The host was so kind and welcoming. We felt very comfortable! I wish we had booked two nights instead of only one.

    Positive So cool to stay in an old, traditional house, which had everything we needed. Owner was super friendly and even had some free pottery we were welcome to take. (And he had great suggestions for where to eat nearby and even left us some instant ramen to eat, if we got hungry.) The futon heaters were great and definitely needed when a cold wind storm blew in!
