Positive Joao picked me up at the airport and showed me around the apartment area (restaurants, grocery stores, bus stops, etc. The apartment is high up in an old building, inside it is very modern and new; the view onto the beach is hard to beat. The metro stop is just a nice walk of 20 minutes away, and if you have time take the scenic bus 500 towards the city from

João was an amazing host. we arrived late after drive from Lisbon and João met us there with everything we would need, he also went to check what restaurants were open. he really went above and beyond. the apartment was spacious, beautifully clean, in an amazing location with wonderful views from every window. We ate out each night and every rest
