    Positive This is a very beautiful, unique and historic property that is accessible only by boat, which is on-call at all times and takes just a few minutes to cross the river. Our room was charming, comfortable and a little quirky (handheld shower in the open bathtub). The staff is great, the grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the river view is wonderful. Th

    Positive The hotel was a bit of a hassle to get to. It also seemed eerily empty. There was no phone in the room or room service which was a bummer. The cleaning person didn’t check in on the 2nd night so we ran out of TP and water. If you want to enjoy the hotel, I’d say stay one night max. I wouldn’t go back to stay there again.
