Positive The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Like the rest of the hotel it needs a complete refit as it is undoubtedly looking tired. The staff were excellent particularly in view of the fact that they all face redundancy as the hotel wiil close on 22 December for an indefinite period. A major refurbishmenmt project will start in January.

Positive Everything. I stayed in the "Malvern Suite" with its four. poster bed and lake view. Superbly comfortable. Excellent sandwich lunch, and evening dinner, all reasonably priced. Really friendly staff.

Positive The idyllic view from our suite was incomparable. Our view overlooked the ancient trees nestled by a serene lake with sheep grazing on the hill
