    Positive We booked last minute for a trip between boxing day and new year, with little notice the cottage was warmed up for us with a calor gas heater and plenty of wood supplied for the log burner. This was really appreciated as it was freezing. There are electric heaters which warm up the upstairs quickly. It's a cute rustic little cottage without uneccesary fuss.

    Positive The owner is very friendly and told us a bit about the history of the cottage. We only needed to use the electric heaters, which soon made the living room toasty, but there were logs for the fire. The location is quiet. There is an air fryer and microwave as well as a conventional cooker. We sat in the garden at the rear. The accommodation is on a bus route.
