    Positive The house is much bigger than it appears on photographs and is tastefully decorated with three sitting rooms. It’s a peaceful location surrounded by greenery and great views with gardens to all sides, there are pheasants roaming nearby and we even saw a mink! Tennis courts were a great bonus as was the large table in the kitchen\lounge as plenty of room for

    Positive As soon as you went in the door the comfort and homely feeling you felt was amazing. The decor was calming, the bedrooms, ensuites, bathrooms, sitting rooms were wonderful. You were surrounded by trees, lawns, it was so peaceful, even though the main road was near.

    Positive The place was very clean with plenty of room for nine people. The grandchildren especially enjoyed the tennis court and gardens whilst I enjoyed the nearby country walks. The property is in a convenient location just an 11 minute bus ride to Durham. There are two local pubs in the village - one of which has an extensive menu (including Gluten free and Vegeta
