    Positive The building is beautiful and steeped in history, staff are friendly and professional, rooms are well appointed and spotless. Food is fabulous. Best of all, dogs are welcomed rather than tolerated. The grounds are gorgeous and well tended, with acres to explore.

    Positive Stayed here many times : the approach, gardens & location truly exceptional : like a National Trust house! The main building is fabulous, very grand, if a little tired in places (some of the bedrooms in the main house) : this time, I stayed in the stable block which was more modern.
