    Positive The setting was extraordinarily beautiful and quiet. The hillsides were lovely, and we wish we had taken the time to explore them more. We really loved the village feel of Fulking, and the convenience to Brighton and Hove. We rather enjoyed talking with Jane, and when we had hung up some laundry and we're going to be home late she volunteered to bring it in

    Positive Good location in the South Downs near Devil’s Dyke. Well provisioned apartment. Jane is a very helpful and friendly host. Lots of pretty villages nearby. We can recommend the food and friendly welcome at the Fox pub in Small Dole. Beware the narrow lanes when driving though. Car is essential of course!
