Positive This motel is across the street from Laney College, near BART and walking distance to downtown Oakland, Chinatown and other central locations. The immediate area is safe. My room was clean and the cable television has a few interesting channels.

Positive Location was perfect for me. I was in town for a marathon and it was a 10 minute walk to the start line. Also, since it was a Sunday, there was a large flea market directly across the street from the lodge.
