    Positive There were so many things to love it's hard to name one. The dinner and breakfast meals were spectacular. Our hosts Shin and Shohei explained each of the dishes origins as well as provided rich background into the history of the Machiya. The artwork found on the walls and sliding doors was also fun to learn about, it felt like every step we took around we ha

    Positive The property was amazing everything exceeded our expectations. Also the staff was exceptional especially Shohei, he gave us great recommendations on restaurants, bars, and an itinerary plan while in Kyoto to make the most of our visit. When we told the staff we were going to Osaka next they even gave us recommendations on what to see and eat while there also

    Positive The hosts Shinn and Shohei are amazing. They spent more than an hour giving us a history of the property and pointed out the various beautiful screens, pictures and paintings in the room.
