Positive Hotel Yakushima is in a fantastic location. We were able to walk there from the ferry and they offered a shuttle to the airport. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. Also, we had an incredible view from our room.

Positive Location is absolutely beautiful right at the edge of the largest town on Yukushima facing both ocean and mountain. The breakfast and dinner were fabulous food. The public bath was clean and the right temperatures.

Positive Absolutely best experience on Yakushima (I stayed in 3 hotels here)! The room has minimalistic design, although overlooking the ocean made my stay at the hotel so pleasant Food is amazing, staff is helpful, they have gear rental at the spot!
