Positive Luiz met us upon arrival and helped us secure a place to park our rental car (which would have been a problem without his help). He furnished a list of local restaurants within walking distance that we used. Very helpful. The apartment was like living in a small Portuguese home, so we enjoyed that. Positive A charming apartment in an 18th century home. Location was close to cafes, the ocean beach, river walk, and bus stop. I appreciated the motion detector lights that lit the exterior entry along with twinkly Christmas lights. Host, Luiz, was very kind, friendly, and welcoming. TV programming included many English language stations.

Positive What I liked/enjoyed the most was the comfortable bed. Out of the 12 places I stayed in the 35 nights I was in Portugal, the bed at Casa da Belavista was THE most comfortable, which made for the best sleep.
