    Positive Large, comfortable room. Easy walking distance to the Minster and city core. Easy walking distance from the train station. The hotel offered the directions from the train station in advance. The staff were friendly and helpful without exception. We ate dinner at the hotel one night. It was one of the best meals on our trip. Colleen had a window alcove table

Ideally situated to walk into the walled city via Marygate, The Museum Gardens which were beautiful, along the river or down the road which took you straight to the magnificent York Minister.
