Positive Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of options. The hotel is right by the York Minster and The Shambles so we were able to walk everywhere during our stay. Dinner in the Bow Room was very elegant. The bar/lounge is a great place for a cocktail and mid day bite to eat. The views of the old city walls and garden are lovely. The building is historic

Positive I’ve never had a perfect 10 / 10 stay at a hotel before as I’m quite fussy , however there’s no fault to be found. The building is unique & the staff were the best I’ve ever been hosted by. The owner herself is a lovely woman & we really can’t wait to go back !

Kind attentive staff, a beautiful room that I only booked on the day, incredibly historic building and gardens, practically in the grounds of York Minster, private parking making it easy to explore York on foot, good Yorkshire breakfast, lovely bar area in the Long Room, peaceful and just what I needed as a short stopover on my drive up to Scotla
